What Evermark Industrial Produces in Acrylic

Evermark Industrial's laser cutting and engraving systems handle both precision cutting and surface engraving in a single setup — no secondary operations required. Acrylic parts are cut clean-edged, engraved to consistent depth, and ready to install.

Two-color acrylic engraving

Cast two-color laminate (cap layer over contrasting core) engraved to reveal the base color. The standard material for industrial nameplates, pushbutton legend plates, and panel identification where phenolic is not specified.

Laser-cut acrylic shapes

Custom shapes cut from DXF or AI files. Clean flame-polished edges on most thicknesses up to 1/4". Used for custom signs, decorative plaques, architectural letters, and non-standard nameplate formats.

Acrylic facility signs

Room identification, door signs, directional signs, and wayfinding panels for offices, manufacturing facilities, healthcare, and education. Available with engraved or UV-printed text.

Industrial acrylic nameplates

Equipment identification, machinery labels, and control panel nameplates in acrylic where phenolic is not required or where specific colors are needed outside standard phenolic color options.

Acrylic standoff signs

Precision-cut panels pre-drilled for standoff hardware. Used for reception signage, lobby displays, and branded interior signage in commercial and industrial facilities.

Custom cut parts

Acrylic components for OEM assemblies, display fixtures, enclosure windows, and protective covers. Cut to print from customer-supplied CAD files.

Acrylic Material Options

Evermark Industrial stocks and machines cast acrylic sheet in the following configurations. Material selection depends on the visual requirement, the environment, and whether the sign or nameplate will be engraved, cut-only, or UV printed.

Two-color acrylic engraving stock — black cap engraved to reveal white core
Two-Color Laminate Acrylic (Engraving Stock)
A cap layer of one color bonded over a contrasting core. Laser engraving removes the cap to reveal the core color — producing permanent, high-contrast text and graphics with no paint or infill required. Available in black/white, white/black, red/white, blue/white, yellow/black and other standard combinations. The industrial standard for nameplates and legend plates where phenolic is unavailable in the required color.
Clear cast acrylic sign panel cut to size for standoff mounting
Clear Cast Acrylic
Optically clear cast sheet, typically 1/8" to 1/4" thick for signs and 1/16" to 3/16" for precision-cut parts. Used for standoff signs, display panels, window inserts, and enclosure covers. Laser-cut edges are clean and slightly flame-polished. Engravable with surface-frosted results using CO₂ laser.
Frosted acrylic room identification sign with laser-engraved text
Frosted and Colored Cast Acrylic
Frosted white, matte black, translucent colors, and opaque colored cast sheet. Used for interior facility signage, room identification, and architectural sign panels. Can be engraved, cut to shape, and supplied with pre-drilled mounting holes or adhesive backing.
Laser-cut mirrored acrylic letters for lobby or reception signage
Mirrored Acrylic
Silver and gold mirrored acrylic sheet for dimensional letters, lobby signs, and decorative applications. Laser-cut to shape from DXF or AI files. Available in standard thicknesses of 1/8" and 3/16". Pre-drilled for adhesive mounting or standoff hardware.

Who Orders Acrylic Signs and Cutting from Evermark Industrial

Electrical Contractors and Panel Builders

Electrical contractors use two-color acrylic engraving stock as an alternative to phenolic when specific color combinations are not available in phenolic laminate, or when the panel specification calls for acrylic. Evermark produces acrylic legend plates in 22mm, 30mm, and rectangular formats to the same tolerances as phenolic equivalents. Two-color acrylic nameplates meet the visual contrast requirements of UL 508A §49.6 for most panel identification applications — confirm with your inspector for dielectric-sensitive installations.

Facility and Maintenance Engineers

Facilities teams use laser-cut acrylic for room and door identification, equipment zone markers, safety sign panels, and directional signage throughout manufacturing plants, warehouses, and commercial buildings. Acrylic facility signs are more durable than vinyl-on-substrate signs and can be re-engraved or replaced individually without replacing the entire sign system. Evermark produces single replacement signs and full facility sign kits from the same price list.

OEM Manufacturers and Product Designers

OEM manufacturers order laser-cut acrylic for enclosure windows, display covers, instrument bezels, and custom-cut components that would otherwise require fabrication tooling. Evermark cuts from customer DXF files with ±0.005" tolerance, producing parts ready for assembly without secondary finishing. No tooling cost. No minimum run size.

How Acrylic Sign and Cutting Orders Work

From file submission to final delivery, our process is built for speed, precision, and industrial compliance.

Step 1
Submit Your File or Describe the Job

Upload a DXF, AI, SVG, PDF, or EPS file with your cut profile and engraving artwork. Or describe the sign in the quote form — size, material, color, text, quantity, and mounting method. No file required for standard nameplate sizes.

Step 2
Same-Day Quote

Evermark returns a quote with material, cut dimensions, engraving details, unit price, and estimated ship date within one business day. Rush quoting available for time-sensitive projects.

Step 3
Digital Proof Approval

A digital proof showing the cut profile and engraving layout is sent before production starts. Approve via email or request changes. No acrylic is cut until the proof is signed off.

Step 4
Laser Cutting and Engraving

Acrylic is cut and engraved at Evermark's US facility using CO₂ laser systems. Cut edges are clean-finished. Two-color laminate engraving reveals the contrasting core layer cleanly without additional finishing.

Step 5
Packaged and Shipped

Acrylic signs and cut parts are individually protected and packaged to prevent surface scratching during transit. Standard and expedited shipping available. Material data sheets included with industrial nameplate orders.
